2BV Water Ring Vacuum Pump Repair Guide

2BV water ring vacuum pump is a vacuum equipment widely used in chemical, pharmaceutical, food, paper and other industries, suitable for pumping gas and water vapor. Its operating principle is based on the water ring structure formed when the impeller rotates, and the gas is inhaled and discharged through volume changes. This series of pumps has the characteristics of compact structure, stable operation and easy maintenance, but it still needs regular maintenance to ensure performance after long-term operation.

Disassembly process
Remove the coupling, bearing frame and side cover, and remove the impeller and shaft assembly.
Use copper rods or soft metal liners when disassembling to avoid hard knocking and damaging the parts.
Critical component inspection
Impeller: Check for cracks, wear and balance, and the minimum thickness of the blade should meet the standard (for example, when the outer diameter of the impeller is > 315mm, the minimum thickness of the cast iron blade ≥6mm).
Pump shaft: measure straightness (≤ 0.02mm at the journal, 0.05mm ≤ middle), and there should be no scratches on the surface.
Bearing: Check the surface of the ball and slideway to ensure that there is no corrosion and pit marks, and the fit tolerance is in accordance with H7/k6 (shaft) and J7/h6 (bearing housing).
Sealing device: The mechanical seal needs to check the status of the dynamic and static ring, O-ring and spring, and the packing seal needs to adjust the compression amount.
Assembly requirements
Assemble in reverse order of disassembly, clean each part and apply oil protection.
The gap between the impeller and the side cover shall meet the standard of Table 6 (for example, when the outer diameter of the impeller is > 200mm, the total clearance is 0.30-0.40mm).
The coaxiality error of the coupling ≤ 0.18mm (when the outer diameter > 290mm).
