1. Installation Acceptance and Preparation:• Ensure that the Roots blower is installed and has passed acceptance testing.• Prepare necessary startup tools, such as valve hooks, wrenches, etc.• Check if the motor grounding wire is intact, if the anchor bolts are tightened, and if the wheel cover is properly secured.• Check if the lubricant oil level and quality meet the requirements, and fill it to the designated position.• Ensure that the rotor can rotate freely without jamming.• Check if the air filter at the inlet is unobstructed and if the filter inlet is fully open.• If there is a cooling water system, check if the cooling water is unobstructed.2. Preliminary Debugging:• Completely disconnect the Roots blower from the system, and disconnect the inlet and outlet duct connections of the blower.• Manually rotate the blower to confirm that there are no jams inside the housing.• Start the blower, then immediately shut it down, observing whether the rotation direction of the blower matches the direction indicated on the housing. If different, for a three-phase motor, swap any two phase cables and reconnect.3. No-load Operation Debugging:• After confirming the correct rotation direction of the Roots blower, start the blower.• Run continuously for half an hour, observing whether the operation of the blower is stable and if there are any abnormal noises or vibrations.• Check the airflow in the duct, which can be observed through back washing exhausts.• Monitor the pressure changes of the outlet pressure transmitter and mechanical pressure gauge.4. Full Pressure Debugging:• Install a valve at the outlet of the Roots blower (to avoid noise, a silencer can be connected after the valve).• After starting the blower, simulate the load by gradually closing the valve until the blower pressure reaches the pressure indicated on the nameplate.• Then continuously run for about 2 hours, ensuring that there are no unusual noises, that the temperature is stable (the temperature generally rises gradually after pressurization, taking as short as half an hour or as long as 2 hours to stabilize; if it continues to rise, there is likely a problem), and that the blower current is within the range indicated on the nameplate.5. Full System Debugging:• Connect the Roots blower to the working system and start trial operation.• The trial operation should last more than half an hour to observe the operation of the blower under actual working conditions.• Check if the parameters of the blower such as pressure and current meet the system requirements.• If overload conditions occur, it usually means that the selection was improper, and a thorough investigation and analysis of the problem is needed.6. Shutdown and Subsequent Inspection:• Before shutdown, gradually unload; sudden stopping of the machine while fully loaded is not allowed.• After shutdown, check the temperature, vibration, and other conditions of the blower components to ensure that there are no abnormalities.• Regularly maintain the blower, including changing lubricant oil and cleaning the air filter.
